Carrie is EVERYTHING you would want in a makeup artist for your special day. During our first phone call, she asked me so many questions about what I was looking for and the vibe I wanted. She had me make a private Pinterest for hair and make up inspiration so that we were both on the same page and she was so reassuring and a calming force through all the stress of planning a wedding. During the trial, Carrie took the time to discuss what she was doing and it was such wonderful way to get to know each other. She made sure to ask what I thought about everything and made changes when needed so that at the end of the trial I felt like everything was absolutely perfect. She was extremely knowledgable about skin, makeup, and hair and she was able to share with me so many tips. I wanted to make sure I did not look "cakey" and she made me look dewey, fresh, and natural in the most amazing way. The day of the wedding Carrie showed up just as excited as I was to be able to share the day with me. She kept the energy high and fun but was also there to calm me and make sure I was taking in every moment. Everything went perfectly as planned and she even followed me to the venue for last minute touch ups. Carrie seriously made me feel so special
and went above and beyond throughout the whole process. She was one of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding and I am so grateful to have found her!

I have always struggled with the way that I look when my hair and make up is professionally done and I did not want to feel that way on my wedding. After looking at Galleries of ALL the talent in the Valley, Carrie really stood out to me. I scheduled an appointment with her during one of my wedding planning trips to Napa- I highly recommend doing this with any artist! We did a trial hair and make up session & I absolutely loved it! I did not think I could look so good & still feel authentic but she knows how to find that balance.... between knowledge of top products, her talent and ability to really understand what her clients want, she is the best! Between my trial and my wedding, I had new ideas and Carrie took notes, tweaking the looks for my wedding & for the event on the night before my wedding. Even having done the trial, the way I looked on Friday and on my wedding exceeded all of my expectations! My wedding day could not have gone as perfectly as it did if I had not worked with Carrie. Both Carrie & Erica arrived on the dot and set-up a professional studio in a snap! Carrie's rates will seem much higher compared to others, but she is 100% worth it. Nothing hidden, and you will only get high quality products applied on your skin & hair by highly skilled artists. Carrie was always calm and even allowed me little breaks during the styling session. She also stayed for an hour to help style my bridal shots, helping make everything picture-perfect. She was flexible enough to tweak my hair when I decided to have it pinned instead of all down. "Carrie is a TRUE artist! I cannot recommend her enough. I am personally really into hair and makeup, so I was picky when it came to choosing who would be in charge of my wedding look. Not only is Carrie incredibly talented and uses really high-quality products (you will learn from her!), but she also has amazing taste/style and really listens to what you want. We collaborated on the look on a shared Pinterest board months in advance. This was great because I was planning a Sonoma wedding from NYC.
We had a great trial session where I felt totally confident and excited for the big day with Carrie. But on the day of, she totally blew me away with how amazing she made me feel inside and out. Carrie was so sweet, calm, and SO attentive with me,
my mom and my 9 bridesmaids. Everyone looked so beautiful and was so happy with their hair and makeup (an unreal feat with so many women). When she says she only hires amazing people, trust her - because our group was so big, she brought along 3 additional artists and they were all awesome. Most importantly, Carrie NAILED IT with my hair and makeup. I wanted a look that was natural and relaxed, but with just a touch of glam. That's exactly what she gave me, and then it lasted through an outdoor vineyard wedding on a hot summer day AND our raucous afterparty for a total of 12+ hours.
I felt so at ease having Carrie by my side as I got ready, during our first look, pictures, and after the ceremony for switching up my hair for the reception. She struck this incredible balance of being out of my way yet always right there when I needed her to be helpful. When it was time to say bye to her, I honestly felt a little pang of panic and sadness - I didn't want her to leave! She's a wonderful person.
Bottom line: Book Carrie now. I am still counting my lucky stars that she was part of my wedding day team!"

"I was looking for a make-up artist for my wedding in Napa, and found Carrie through a Google search. After looking at her pictures on her website and talking to her on the phone, I felt so comfortable with her that I booked her for both my engagement photos and wedding. This was honestly the best decision I made for my entire wedding! Not only is Carrie extremely talented with make-up, but she is so sweet and genuine too. You seriously want to be her friend! The air-brush make-up was flawless for my engagement photos and wedding day. Each time I left her chair, I felt so beautiful but also really appreciated the fact that I still looked like myself. The make-up was perfect for photography, not over the top,and it lasted so well! I absolutely loved the false lashes for my wedding day! There were some neat profile pictures taken of me on my wedding day and the false lashes just look killer! In addition, since I didn't have a good lip pencil with me in Napa, Carrie even went to Ulta to buy me my own so I could do touch-up at my wedding. Talk about going above and beyond! Carrie also did the make-up for my two bridesmaids and Mom and all looked so beautiful too. I can't recommend Carrie enough! I only wished I lived in the same city so that she could do my make-up for some of my black tie events. Thank you again Carrie for everything! "

"I was very happy with the practice session... Carrie was very calm, listened to what I wanted, and just had a great personality! We found something that worked during the trial and Carrie took detailed notes on what she had done. On the day of the wedding Carrie did my makeup, my Mom's, and my now Mother in-law's makeup. She had notes on what I wanted and did a FABULOUS job but was doing my Mom's makeup for the first time. We could not have been happier with what she did and her great, upbeat attitude throughout the whole day. I will say that I am very picky about makeup and I wanted it "just right" (whatever that means) for my wedding. Carrie is not only technically talented, with a full comprehensive knowledge of her craft, but she listens to her clients needs, and is, above all, professional.
